Special Reminders

  1. Check your equipment list carefully
  2. Radios, boom boxes, and CD players are discouraged. Any costly equipment such as camcorders, cameras, etc., including musical instruments, are all brought to camp at the camper's own risk. We suggest that you arrange for insurance coverage on these items under your household "floater" policy.
  3. Please make sure that your luggage, instrument, and music stand are all tagged or easily identifiable.
  4. If you have a favourite chamber work that you would like to perform in the Chamber Music Sessions, please bring it along. (Chamber Music is an optional activity)
  5. Audition at camp - Please come prepared to play a piece of your choice that is representative of your playing ability. We do auditions first thing at camp in order to determine your ensemble placement quickly.
  6. Health Information - The camper health certificate should be completed by parents and your physician. It should be mailed to the IMC office or brought to camp by the camper and handed in at the office on the first day of the session. It is most important that we are aware of any camper allergies or other health impairments. The Health Centre is open daily after breakfast and dinner for campers requiring medical attention. NOTE: a Doctor and/or qualified nurse will be available at all times in case of emergency.
  7. A swim test must be completed by all campers wishing to use the waterfront facilities, including canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, and water skiing.
  8. Smoking is forbidden at camp.
  9. Camper curfew and "Lights Out" must be respected by everyone!
  10. The Tuck Shop is open nightly after dinner for the campers. They may purchase sundries such as stamps, postcards, toiletries, film, and snack foods.
  11. T-Shirts are available again this year. An order form is available for download on the Camper Info page.
  12. General behaviour of campers and staff is expected to be in keeping with the ideals of this special experience. Failure to observe camp regulations relating to health, safety, and welfare of the Camp community exposes the offender to immediate dismissal without fee refund.
